Our Story
Built from the ground up
Offshore Matters grew out of Techlift, a specialist lifting company. As Techlift's project scope expanded beyond lifting into CDM compliance, temporary works, and project oversight — clients looked for help that didn't yet have a home.
Offshore Matters was developed to create a single, hands-on team that could cover the full picture, not just one service line. We built OM to be that team. A wider consultancy capability, formalised around the same standard: specialist, practical support both on and offshore.
OM is not a desk-based advisory — we deploy people, manage programmes, and deliver on the ground the support that clients need.
Our Approach
How we work with clients
Engagements are tailored to project phase and scale. Most start as a specific scope and develop into longer-term advisory relationships.

Managed Service
We take responsibility for a defined scope — CDM management, temporary works coordination, or quality oversight — running it end-to-end on the client's behalf.

Embedded Personnel
An OM specialist is placed within the client or contractor's team. Same expertise, integrated delivery. The client retains control; OM provides the resource and knowledge.

Standalone Consultancy
Discrete advisory input at key project milestones — a document review, a site inspection, a compliance report. Scope is specific and contained.
